I heard about this on the radio and had to google it once I got home! So crazy, this kid is seven years old and can paint better than I could ever imagine. It’s nuts they say that his paintings are selling like crazy and are worth quite a lot of money. His parents must be so proud! Anyway, check out the article, his work is pretty impressive!

I agree I think these shoes would look fabulous with a little black dress! As far as the uncomfotable-ness, who am I kidding, my new years shoes usually turn into bare feet after a few hours anyway…

I realize these Charlotte Russe Glitter Pumps aren’t the best quality or the most versatile and they’d probably kill my feet after a couple of hours, BUT for a fun pair of heels to jazz up an otherwise boring Little Black Dress on say, New Years Eve, for only $25??

So Gilt (great website for discount designer duds) has great sales. I am slightly obsessed with my Cole Hann wallet I purchased and have sent many items to my husband for my wishlist. However, I have a problem with this noon start time for sales. See, I am a teacher and I don’t get to check my personal email as often as I would like. My computer is in constent use by students, being projector for presentations, etc. Having Burberry shoes (like today) or Furla purses broadcasted to my students does NOT boad well with the tax payers! So, I am purposing Gilt have a teacher special where teachers can log on between 6-7 AM when we are getting ready work to put things on hold. It would be perfect! I would have totally bought those patent leather booties and blue sling purse had I a chance to but no. Bitter? Just a wee bit.

I was lusting after that pink sequin Alice + Olivia tank dress. So once my noon meeting ended early, I thought surely at 12:09 pm (before the reminder email blast goes out to everyone) I can still score one of the hot dresses. But nooooooo…sad.
