Jillian Michaels, I heart you. But man having somebody yell at me doesn’t work. So let’s hope this does!
Since I love to shop, I have made it my reward for healthy habits.. The only way to give myself shopping money (like how my parents gave me toy money when I got straight A’s), is to earn points by healthy habits. But there’s a catch, I get points taken away when I slip up. Yes, that’s right. I’m going to punish MYSELF. On a side note, mom and dad you really should have implemented this, for example when I cut C’s hair and hid it in a lego box so you wouldn’t know, you should’ve taken away my toy money…muahaha. Glad you didn’t think of that!
If I do this things, I earn or lose this many points. Everytime I hit 10 points, I get 50 bucks to spend on either going out or shopping. When I get halfway down my debt, or lose 20 lbs, I’m giving myself 75 per 10 points. And when I have 25% debt and lose 30, 100 bucks! Yea that’s right. I’m motivated to hit those goals. Here’s the point system (is able to be revised):
Yoga Class, Running 4 Miles, Crossfit, P90x Video, Hiking 2 hours (as examples), …+1 Each
Not eating out for a whole week (7 days)…+3
8 glasses of water in a day…+0.5
Lose 5 lbs…5
Punishments: Eating out dinner (unless it’s super light/healthy salad or low cal dish)…-1
Eating out lunch…-0.5
Night out of drinking…-1
Eating 1 piece of candy at work…-0.5
